Our economy depends on each and every one of us spending money, not spending money is as bad as hoarding hand sanitizer.
If half of the American population spent an extra $30 in the next 30 days at the business next door—it would result in a 4.5 Billion dollar impact on our economy, and help many small businesses survive.
but the problem
When we are faced with uncertainty we our natural reaction is to go into survival mode. We clam up, we conserve resources...
BUT I'VE DISCOVERED
If only I participate, there will be a $900 impact in 30 days!
It may be a very small contribution it most likely will not solve all the problems...
However
there will be a $13,950 impact in 30 days
If each person I buy from buys something from one other business and the same interaction then continues, one person to another.

This pandemic made me realize how much we depend on each one of us to do the right thing in order to overcome this crisis.
I spent the last few days pondering how can I make an impact but also show people around me that each and every one of them can make an impact as well. And together we can increase that impact exponentially.
If we all can rush to buy toilet paper we can all rush and buy something from a neighbor, a friend, a restaurant in town, or a new online friend we met during zoom happy hour last week.

So here is what I’m going to do to be a part of the solution to a problem we all facing.
For the next 30 days, each day I will buy something for $30 from a fellow small business owner. I hope that my actions will make a small difference in someone's day.
I know, $30 may not seem like a lot, but what I'm really hoping for is to inspire others to pass that $30 on or even take on the same challenge of spending $30 at 30 businesses for the next 30 days.
